We use lightener (bleach) to achieve lighter, brighter strands, and can also add lowlights to your service for added dimension or gray blending.
Highlights, Blonding, & Balayage, Oh My!
With so many words used for various blonding services, here is a breakdown of what we offer at Roots & Revolution:
- Traditional Highlights - hair that is lightened in foil and placed to achieve your desired look. It can be babylights, medium, ribbons, or bold/chunky. Highlights can be made to look blended or less blended.
- Teasylights - hair is still in a foil with lightener, but some hair is teased out of each section to achieve a highly blended result.
- Money Piece - face framing highlights done in a variety of ways from delicate to prominent. The choice is yours.
- Balayage - a technique that paints highlights freehand and in a way that mimics natural sunkissed highlights with a long root. At Roots & Revolution we offer a similar technique known as Foilyage where foils are used with lightener painted in a balayage style.
