1. What is vivid hair color? Vivid, fashion, or creative color is primarily semi permanent color, also called direct dye, that fades with time.
2. How does it work? It coats hair strands with color.
3. Does it lighten hair? Nope, typically not on its own. Lightener (bleach) is often used before vivid color for truer tones.
4. Do I have to lighten my hair? Many colors look great over natural hair. We will decide together based on your inspo and budget.
5. Does it wash out? Colors fade over the course of several months. Most colors can be removed from the hair with specialized products,  if needed.
6. How long does it take? That all depends on your desired look, how much hair you have, and how much hair you want colored. A Total Transformation can take 6 or 7 hours if it is an intricate placement or if you have long, thick hair. An accent piece may only take 90 minutes.
7. Why is it so expensive? Artful vivid color hair is a luxury service meant to give you the look of your dreams. Quite literally, you could draw a picture of hair from your dreams for us to use as an inspiration. We would love that! The time and products necessary to create your vivid look determines the price.
8. Will it look exactly like my inspo pic? That depends on several things: design complexity, color palate, your hair condition and length, and your budget. We will honestly discuss what is possible and will work hard to get you to your desired look.
